Where to Find Holiday Cheer in Delaware!
Get in the Holiday Spirit in Lewes
The season is upon us, and if you're looking for a way to join in on some holiday cheer, there are several options at the Delaware beaches this winter.
Back for another year, Winter Wonderfest is the heart of the holidays in Delaware! They'll be hosting their Light Spectacular at Hudson Fields in Lewes this year, open daily through January 2. No reservations are need, tickets can be purchased online or at the gate upon arrival.
This year's light spectacular is packed with dazzling lights, including the NEW Small Wonder Exhibit featuring iconic Coastal Delaware Landmarks, and an all NEW Journey Under the Sea!
Location: 29763 Eagle Crest Rd, Milton, DE 19968
Hours: 5pm -10pm daily through January 2, 2022
**Please note, there is no ice skating rink this year (they hope to bring it back better than ever in 2022!), and the Christmas Village has moved to a different location (more info below).
Schellville Christmas Village
This year, Schell Brothers is partnering with Tanger Outlets to present a free festival full of fun and activities! Enjoy hours of free fun and entertainment, Thursdays - Sundays, 5 to 9pm, through December 31 (please note: they are closed Thursday, November 25 for Thanksgiving).
Located behind Tanger Outlets Seaside in Rehoboth Beach, you can explore a magical Christmas Village, take a ride on a train, or get your roll on at their roller skating rink. You can have an epic snowball battle in the Snow Zone, get lost in the new Magical Maze of Merriment, or take a break in the Beer Garden. Plus so much more!
And, since the village is located behind Tanger Outlets, it certainly wouldn't hurt to take a peak in the stores, see what kind of deals are on offer, and knock some items off your holiday shopping list!
