Cape May Terminal Construction Advisory

Construction on the Cape May campus of the Cape May – Lewes Ferry began on Monday, November 3rd, 2025. The construction obstructs vehicle, bicycle, and foot access to the terminal for ferry foot passengers and Stowaway restaurant patrons.

Please see the guides below for directions on how to access our facilities during this time.

Construction Access for Foot Passengers and Stowaway Restaurant

Follow the detour signs past the usual entrance, continuing on Lincoln Blvd until you reach Beach Dr. Follow the detour signs and turn left onto Beach Dr towards Douglas Park. Follow the detour sign and turn left into the temporary entrance to the terminal parking lot. Once in the lot, turn left and proceed to park.

Be aware that this is now a two-way traffic area.

Construction Access for Handicap Passenger Drop Off

Follow the detour signs past the usual entrance, continuing on Lincoln Blvd until you reach Beach Dr. Follow the detour signs and turn left onto Beach Dr towards Douglas Park. Follow the detour sign and turn left into the temporary entrance to the terminal parking lot. Once in the lot, turn immediately to the right and enter the accessible parking lot. Handicap parking and a ramp are accessible near the front of the terminal.

Be aware that this is now a two-way traffic area.

Construction Access for Vehicles Boarding the Ferry or Accessing Administration

There is no obstruction to access to the tolls or the administration parking lot. Follow the normal curving entrance to the Cape May – Lewes Ferry and check in with tolls, or turn left to visit the administration offices and check in with police.

Stowaways Restaurant Fall Hours of Operation:

  • Monday – Wednesday: Closed
  • Thursday: 10 AM – 8 PM
  • Friday – Sunday: 10 AM – 8 PM
  • Café Open Daily: 6 AM – 6 PM
