Get ready to rock your Friday nights at sea! The Cape May–Lewes Ferry is thrilled to bring back Rock the Boat in 2026, featuring Delaware’s premier rock ' n ' roll party band, Glass Onion, performing live onboard. Join us for Friday evening cruises filled with music, fun, and sunset views over Delaware Bay.
 

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the popularity of these events, cash is a preferred form of payment for onboard refreshments to speed up the service.

To Purchase Tickets for any Rock the Boat event, select the date and scheduled departure from Lewes at 4:15 pm or Cape May at 6:00 pm.

🎟️ Tickets & Departure Info

Select your preferred Friday date and choose your departure:
 

• Depart Lewes — 4:15 PM
•  
• Depart Cape May — 6:00 PM

Boardings begin about 30–45 minutes before each departure, so arrive early to check in and get settled.

🥂 Onboard Refreshments & Bar Policy

Bar service is available via the Lido Bars (accepting both cash & cards) and satellite bars (cash only). Because Rock the Boat cruises are very popular, carrying cash is strongly recommended for faster service. Let’s keep those lines moving and keep the party rolling!

📆 Schedule & Important Notes

Dates: Fridays, late June through early September 2026
 
Exception: No Rock the Boat cruise on holiday dates (e.g. July 4)
 
Lewes Departure: Check-in at ~3:45 PM — Depart 4:15 PM — Return ~7:25 PM
 
Cape May Return Leg: While there is no dedicated Rock the Boat departure from Cape May, passengers may board the 6:00 PM Cape May crossing to enjoy Glass Onion’s performance on the return crossing. Entertainment (beyond the sunset) is not provided on the 7:45 PM return-only cruise.
