Delaware Events

  • September 27: Dover 400 NASCAR Race

    Dover
    This racing season, you won’t have to fight traffic.  Order any one of 4 ticket packages direct from the Cape May - Lewes Ferry. Then on race day, sail from Cape May to Lewes by deluxe motor coach to Dover Downs! Or, catch the motor coach at the Lewes Ferry Terminal.  The bus will depart from Dover Downs parking lot 45 minutes after the end of the race. For more info, call 800-643-3779.
     

  • October 15-18: 2009 Rehoboth Jazz Festival

    Head down to the beach on October 15th through the 19th for the Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival. Various national and local acts perform at local venues.

  • November 6-8: Punkin' Chunkin'

    Bridgeville
    Punkin’ Chunkin’ has been a part of Delaware for over twenty years drawing tens of thousands of people to acres of corn fields. Homemade devices to cannons are used to  attempt to be the first to hurl a gourd a mile.

  • November 11-15: Rehoboth Beach Film Festival

    Rehoboth Beach

    Since its inaugural event in 1998, the award winning Rehoboth Beach Independent Film Festival has developed into a premiere, Mid-Atlantic cultural event. The five-day Festival showcases approximately 100 of the best American and international films including features, documentaries, and shorts.
