Cape May Zoo Shuttle Excursions

You've been asking for it, and we're finally ready to announce the return of the Cape May - Lewes Ferry Cape May Zoo Excursion. This is a limited offering for 2025, but if well-received, we hope to bring it back as a regular event in 2026.

Board the Ferry in Lewes, DE, and enjoy the 85-minute cruise across the Bay to Cape May. Our trolley will then be waiting to take you to the Cape May Zoo. 

Get a fascinating look at over 250 species of animals, birds, and reptiles in a beautiful garden setting. A playground is also located in the park, and food is available for purchase.

*Lunch is NOT included- we recommend passengers bring their lunch, or you may choose from several local options. Food is not permitted in the zoo, but there are picnic tables outside the entrance.

Monday on the following Dates: 9/8, 9/22, 10/6

Itinerary:

8:45 AM: Depart from the Lewes terminal

10:10 AM: Disembark in Cape May, board the shuttle

10:30 AM: Arrive at the Cape May Zoo

5:00 PM: Depart from the Cape May Zoo

5:20 PM: Arrive back at the Cape May terminal

6:00 PM: Depart Cape May

7:25 PM: Arrive in Lewes

Our Cape May Zoo shuttle excursions are back for Fall 2025! A must-add to your to-do list, a trip to the Cape May County Park & Zoo is a great way to spend a fall day with the family.

Cost: $30.00 for adults 14+, $17.00 for children 6-13, $12.00 for children under 6

Reservations: Strongly recommended as shuttle seating is extremely limited, but not required.

Accessibility: Handicap-accessible shuttle service is available. Please notify the Customer Service representative at the time of booking or before ticket purchase upon arrival.
