Birdwatching Aboard the Cape May-Lewes Ferry

Welcome to Birdwatcher's Paradise!
The Delaware Bay is a birdwatcher's paradise, and the decks of the Cape May-Lewes Ferry provide some of the best viewing available!
With a large and diverse collection of birds, the Delaware Bay is one of the greatest places in the country to spot our winged friends. Aboard the Ferry we've seen egrets, laughing gulls, osprey, gannets, the occasional bald eagle, and much more, since the bay is always flapping with flying wildlife. In addition to the viewing available on the Ferry, there are some exceptional opportunities on both sides of the Delaware Bay, including Cape Henlopen State Park in Delaware, and Cape May Point State Park in New Jersey, and both locations can be easily accessed from our Ferry terminals.
So if birdwatching flaps your wings, make sure to include the Cape May-Lewes Ferry in your next travel itinerary!
